Governors
Our Governors play a vital role in the life of our school, working in partnership with the Headteacher and staff to ensure the best possible education for every child. They provide strategic oversight, support the school’s vision and values, and help ensure that pupils are safe, happy and able to thrive. Made up of parents, staff and members of the wider community, our Governing Body is committed to challenging and supporting the school so that it continues to grow and succeed.
Governing Body 2025–2026 - Welcome from Our Chair of Governors
On behalf of the Governing Body, I am delighted to extend a very warm welcome to Eaves Primary School.
As Governors, our collective role is to support and challenge the school so that it remains a happy, safe and inclusive environment, where every child is encouraged to thrive academically, socially and emotionally. We are ambitious for all our pupils and staff, and we work closely with the Headteacher and leadership team to ensure that the highest standards of care, teaching and learning are maintained.
Eaves Primary School is a strong and supportive community, rooted in clear values and a commitment to putting children first. We are proud of the dedication and professionalism of our staff, the positive partnerships we have with parents and carers, and, most importantly, the enthusiasm, resilience and achievements of our children.
The Governing Body brings together individuals with a wide range of skills, experience and perspectives from education, public service, commerce, parents and the wider community. This breadth of expertise enables us to provide effective governance and to contribute meaningfully to the strategic direction of the school.
Further information about the Governing Body, including our Instrument of Government, details of Governors, meeting attendance and meeting dates, can be found in this section. We value openness and engagement, and we welcome constructive feedback, suggestions and ideas from parents and carers. Please feel free to contact me via the school if you wish to do so.
Thank you for taking the time to visit our website and for your ongoing support of Eaves Primary School.
