Beyond the Classroom

Our Autumn 1 Enrichment Journey

What a wonderful first half term we have had at Eaves! We are incredibly proud of the wide range of opportunities and experiences our children have enjoyed beyond their everyday learning.

From sporting competitions and exciting workshops to developing lifesaving skills, exploring future careers and taking on leadership responsibilities, our children have certainly been busy! It has also been lovely to welcome parents and carers into school to share in their children's learning.

This half term, we have also introduced an exciting new initiative, with each class choosing a charity to support throughout the year. We look forward to seeing the children put their ideas into action and make a real difference to others in our community.

Our Beyond the Classroom booklet celebrates just some of the fantastic experiences that make life at Eaves so special. We believe that education is about so much more than academic achievement. It is about developing confidence, kindness, resilience, independence and giving every child the opportunity to discover their talents and interests.

We hope you enjoy looking back at everything we have achieved together this half term. There is certainly plenty to celebrate, and we cannot wait to see what Autumn 2 brings!
