PATHS
Eaves is proud to be a PATHS school, where we use the PATHS (Promoting Alternative Thinking Strategies) programme to help children build strong social and emotional skills.
Being a PATHS school means we teach pupils how to understand and manage their feelings, make positive choices, solve problems calmly, and show kindness towards others.
We are especially proud of how confidently our children articulate the PATHS messages and use them in their everyday interactions.

Meet our B's Buddies
A PATHS “B’s Buddy” is a peer helper who models and supports the positive “B’s” behaviours taught in the PATHS social-emotional learning program—such as being responsible, being respectful, being safe, and being kind. A B’s Buddy reminds classmates of these expectations, helps solve small problems using PATHS strategies, and encourages others to make good choices. Their role is to promote a friendly, supportive classroom environment and support during lunchtimes to ensure everyone feels respected and included.
We are a Barnardo's PATHS Model School
We were awarded MODEL SCHOOL STATUS by Barnardo’s for our delivery of the PATHS Programme as our universal offer to all pupils to support their Mental Health and Wellbeing through development of their self-control, emotional awareness and interpersonal problem-solving skills.
As a PATHS Model Status school, we are recognised for our commitment to high-quality delivery of the programme and for creating a supportive, respectful environment where every child can thrive.
